NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — A man was injured in a Saturday morning shooting in North Charleston, and police are asking the public for help as they investigate what happened.
According to the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD), officers responded to a report of a shooting just before 10 a.m. on the 3300 block of Florida Avenue. When they arrived, they found a man who had suffered gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police have not yet released details about the man’s condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Police have not shared information about what may have led to the gunfire or if the victim and the shooter knew each other.
