Make-A-Wish offers joyous messages with the Holiday Wish Line.

Make-A-Wish has relaunched its Holiday Wish Line, featuring pre-recorded uplifting messages from children nationwide who have bravely faced critical illnesses.

Campaign Details

The initiative runs through December 31, 2025, as part of the “Wishful Giving” effort. Callers dial (480) 914-9474 (WISH) to hear from six wish kids sharing stories, jokes, and holiday cheer.

Messages come from kids like Angelito (5, leukemia, charro party wish), Levi (7, cancer, ski trip), Ruby (5, liver transplant, book author), Braedyn (8, leukemia, ice skating), Vera (9, respiratory disorder, baking station), and Quinn (7, leukemia, NYC adventure).

Purpose and Support

These messages highlight resilience and joy amid challenges, with wishes proven to boost emotional and physical well-being. Donations at wish.org/wishline help grant more wishes.

Our wish kids have battled critical illnesses with courage and grace,” said the president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, Leslie Motter. “Their messages reflect a depth of humor and hope that only they can share. For those feeling overwhelmed or in need of a smile, their voices are a powerful reminder that joy can be found even in the hardest times.

The featured wish kids include:

  • Angelito, 5, who is battling leukemia and whose wish for a charro-themed celebration came to life with music, gifts, and horses.
  • Levi, 7, who is undergoing cancer treatment. He reunited with his siblings during a ski trip in Colorado.
  • Ruby, 5, is a liver transplant recipient who fulfilled her wish of publishing a children’s book.
  • Braedyn, 8, who is fighting leukemia, rediscovered joy through ice skating.
  • Vera, 9, who lives with a respiratory disorder, received a custom baking station.
  • Quinn, 7, who is facing leukemia, experienced New York City by limousine while enjoying a giant pizza.
