Ladson man is charged with pointing a gun following a weekend brawl.

A 35-year-old man from Ladson, S.C., Antonio Lee, faces a pointing and presenting a firearm charge after a parking lot altercation in North Charleston.

Fight Circumstances
North Charleston Police responded around 12:15 a.m. Saturday to 9580 Old Glory Lane for a reported fight. Both Lee and another man claimed assault by the other, but witnesses supported the victim’s account: Lee blocked the man’s vehicle, exited holding a handgun, prompting the man to strike first in self-defense to disarm him.

Weapon and Aftermath
During the struggle, Lee punched the victim in the jaw; the gun—found without a magazine—was in the victim’s possession when officers arrived. Lee was bleeding; the victim reported prior threats to him and his family by Lee. He’s booked into L.C. Knight Detention Center.
