Tyquan Travez Tucker, a 29-year-old Summerville man from Ravens Wood Road, was arrested by Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office deputies with U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force assistance for assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature. The case originated from a February 2, 2026, call to a medical facility reporting a patient with injuries from an assault, later linked to Tucker, who also made ongoing threats to the victim and law enforcement.

Victim Injuries

The victim sustained serious trauma, including neck bruising and two swollen eyes, requiring hospitalization.

Arrest and Detention

Sheriff Duane Lewis announced the arrest on February 10; surveillance led to Tucker’s custody without incident. He remains held at Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending case progression.
