Spartanburg police are asking the public for help identifying five suspects in a violent assault that happened Thursday at the Home Depot on Dorman Centre Drive in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The incident began as harassment inside the store and escalated into a physical attack outside.
What happened at the Home Depot
- Officers responded to reports of an assault at the Home Depot and found the victim being treated by EMS for facial injuries, including a bloody nose.
- While the man was shopping, a group of men allegedly approached him, began harassing him, and placed a bucket over his head while recording the encounter.
- Later, outside the store, three members of the same group reportedly assaulted the victim, knocking him to the ground and striking and kicking him before store employees intervened and the group fled.

- Investigators say the group involved in the attack consisted of about five males, with at least two capturing the incident on camera while the others carried out the assault.
