James Island, South Carolina – An early-morning crash on James Island blocked multiple lanes Friday and sent the driver of an SUV to the hospital, according to officials.
According to Charleston County deputies, the crash has blocked the northbound lanes of Folly Road in the 800 block, but drivers heading north can use one southbound lane to get around the crash scene.
Charleston County dispatchers said the crash occurred around 5 a.m. They said the crash resulted in injuries, but it wasn’t clear how severe they were.
