Dorchester County, South Carolina — The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said that two people were arrested on Tuesday after a suspected stabbing at an apartment complex in Dorchester County.
Deputies were summoned to Cedar Key Apartments around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. When they arrived, they discovered a stab victim.
According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was treated at the scene before being sent to a local hospital for further care.
When police searched the area, they discovered Bryan Michael Howell, 32, of Summerville, hiding beneath a laundry pile inside one of the apartment units.
Howell was identified as a suspect and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Deputies also identified Olivia Simmons, 37, of Summerville, as a suspect and charged her with obstructing justice.
Both accused are in custody at the Dorchester County Detention Center. An investigation is ongoing.
