Charleston County deputies are investigating a fatal crash that occurred over the weekend along Highway 165. Authorities responded to reports of a single-vehicle accident just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday, about a mile south of Hyde Park Road.
The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity.
