Charleston County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting in Ladson’s Woodside Manor community on Tuesday evening around 5:15 p.m. at Peatwood Drive and Outwood Drive. The incident involved two underage individuals meeting two adults, during which gunfire was exchanged, injuring one adult three times and one juvenile once. All parties tried to flee but were located by deputies, who provided first aid before hospital transport for non-life-threatening injuries; the investigation continues with no charges announced yet.

Investigators determined the shooting stemmed from the meeting between juveniles and adults. First aid was administered on scene by deputies. The Forensic Services Unit and Criminal Investigations Division are actively processing the case.

Victim Status
