Charleston County, South Carolina – The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal Thursday morning crash on Maybank Highway.
Just after 1:30 a.m., deputies arrived to the intersection of Maybank Highway and Oak Grove Road after receiving reports of a car running off the road and colliding with a tree.
The driver, the only person in the automobile, died on the scene. The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will announce their identities as appropriate.
