Charleston, South Carolina – A popular artisan deli in downtown Charleston announced Tuesday that they will build a second Lowcountry branch.
Charleston’s The Pass is planning a second location in Mount Pleasant.
Later this fall, The Pass will serve Italian sandwiches and groceries to clients in the Northcutt Plaza off Houston Northcutt Boulevard.
“We are grateful to our loyal workers, friends and partners, and the community at large for their unwavering support throughout. “We are SO excited to start this new chapter with you,” Chef and Owner Anthony Marini wrote on Instagram.
Chef Marini combined his love of’really fantastic’ sandwiches with his love of Charleston after working in many restaurants to open the initial establishment at 207-A St. Philip Street.
The area also houses The Italian Boy After Dark, a sample dining experience designed to imitate eating at an Italian rowhome, which is open Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
