Charleston County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting on December 5, 2012, around 1:30 a.m. in Hollywood, South Carolina, specifically the area of 5342 Salters Hill Road, where they found 35-year-old Germel Grant suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Grant was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) but succumbed to his injuries there.
