North Charleston, South Carolina – Barnyard Chicken, a family-owned restaurant that serves a range of chicken meals, announced on Thursday that its Park Circle location would close.
“With sorrowful hearts, we have made the tough decision to close Barnyard Chicken. “We’ve truly enjoyed being a part of this community — serving you, sharing laughs, and making memories together,” the restaurant wrote on its Facebook page.
When contacted, the restaurant told counton2.com that its location was a factor in their decision to close; nonetheless, they stated that relocating the family business would be costly and require a significantly higher rent.
The restaurant’s last day of operation is scheduled for November 1.
