A shooting occurred early this morning in the parking lot of the Sandtrap Bar and Grill in Chesterfield County’s Cheraw region, killing one person and badly injuring another.
The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the incident, which involved two people who allegedly exchanged gunshots after a previous altercation.
Despite the gravity of the situation, officials have declared that there is no ongoing threat to the community.
