Charleston, South Carolina — MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital will provide special presents to children in their care during the month of December as part of their annual Good Night Lights event.

For the first time, on December 2, hospital personnel, Lowcountry first responders, and Walmart volunteers will come together to pack gifts for patients and families spending the holidays in the hospital.

Their goal is to put together 600 gift bags filled with toys for children aged three and under, as well as those aged four and up.

The gifts will include coloring books, crayons, bath toys, bubbles, and other items to brighten the holidays for those children who are unable to be at home.

These toy bags will be presented to inpatient families at the annual MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Good Night Lights festivities on December 4, 11, 18, and 22.
