North Charleston, S.C. — A vehicle was recovered from a retention pond near Northwoods Mall overnight, according to the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD).

Police responded to the scene on Northwoods Boulevard, near Eagle Landing Boulevard, after reports of a vehicle found in the pond. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that everyone was out of the vehicle when they reached the scene.
Recovery Efforts
To investigate the incident, the NCPD Traffic Unit and Dive Team were deployed. The Dive Team utilized airbags to float the submerged vehicle, which was then pulled out of the water with the assistance of a tow truck.
