North Charleston, South Carolina – A community town hall scheduled for Monday evening will provide an opportunity to see plans for the upcoming Roper Hospital.
Officials with Roper St. Francis Healthcare say the new hospital being built off Mall Drive in North Charleston will provide high-quality treatment in a convenient location.
Roper leaders will provide construction updates for the hospital’s new site, and community residents will be able to raise questions concerning expansion in the neighborhood.
Attendees can also see mock-up hospital rooms to gain a better sense of the “modern facility’s healing-centered design.”
The town hall will be held by North Charleston Mayor Reggie Burgess, State Senator Deon Tedder (Dist. 42), and State Representative Courtney Waters (Dist. 113).
The town hall meeting is set at 6 p.m. at the former Verizon building (2401 Mall Drive) in North Charleston.
