North Charleston, South Carolina. The Roper St. Francis Express Care on International Boulevard in North Charleston will close permanently on Friday as it prepares to expand to service healthcare needs around the Lowcountry.
On November 14, at 5 p.m., the North Charleston Roper Express Care site will be closed to patients. To remedy this need, a new Roper Hospital in the area has already begun construction and will be operational by 2029, according to Roper.
Residents in need of urgent care can go to the Express Care facility at 8901 University Boulevard or utilize the hospital locator tool to find another clinic.
