Joseph Green, a 67-year-old from Pennsylvania, died in a collision involving his lawnmower and a 2013 Honda Civic on Old Highway 6 in Cross, South Carolina, on Monday night.​
Crash Details
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the Honda was traveling westbound when it struck the lawnmower in the roadway at 6:26 p.m. near Prince Lane. Green, operating the lawnmower, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.​
Investigation and Injuries
The Honda driver sustained injuries and received hospital treatment. Both the SCHP and Berkeley County Coroner’s Office continue investigating the incident.​
