Joseph Green, a 67-year-old from Pennsylvania, died in a collision involving his lawnmower and a 2013 Honda Civic on Old Highway 6 in Cross, South Carolina, on Monday night.
Crash Details
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the Honda was traveling westbound when it struck the lawnmower in the roadway at 6:26 p.m. near Prince Lane. Green, operating the lawnmower, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation and Injuries
The Honda driver sustained injuries and received hospital treatment. Both the SCHP and Berkeley County Coroner’s Office continue investigating the incident.
