Summerville, S.C. – A 38-year-old woman, identified as Angel Capers from Summerville, was killed in a shooting Monday afternoon, according to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office.

The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at a home in the 200 block of Grand View Crossing, located in the Cane Bay area, around 3:30 p.m. Monday. Upon arriving, authorities found Capers with a gunshot wound, and despite efforts to investigate, she was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4 p.m.
