A South Carolina woman was tragically killed in a shooting Monday afternoon in Berkeley County. The victim, 38-year-old Angel Capers, was found dead at the scene.

At around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, deputies responded to a home in the 200 block of Grand View Crossing in the Cane Bay area of Summerville. The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office reported a significant law enforcement presence in the area, and the coroner was called to the scene about an hour later, at 4 p.m.
