Suspects face no bond ruling as the investigation into the death of an Olanta lady proceeds.

Two suspects, 19-year-old Iryanna Jarissa Fleming of Pamplico and 31-year-old Daquinn Taheen Thomas of Effingham, face murder charges in Florence County after 40-year-old Dana Marie Kinlaw of Olanta was found shot dead inside a burning car on Atlantic Road near Springbranch Road.

Incident Details

Deputies responded Thursday night to a vehicle fire with a body inside; investigators allege Fleming and Thomas intentionally shot Kinlaw before setting the car ablaze. Her death was ruled a homicide, and Coroner Keith von Lutcken ordered an autopsy at MUSC in Charleston.

Court Proceedings

Magistrate Judge Frank White denied bond Friday morning, lacking authority for murder charges—cases now head to Circuit Court. Thomas was disruptive and told to be quiet, while Fleming stayed mostly silent; both remain at Florence County Detention Center.

Investigation Status

The Florence County Sheriff’s Office probe continues with no further details released; additional charges are possible alongside existing weapons violations.
