North Charleston police are investigating after a woman was shot while driving her car.
According to the incident report, the victim called dispatch at 9:16 p.m. on July 11 to report that a car nearly hit her car and then fired a gun at her.
The victim claims she was on Ladson Road when a two-door blue Toyota swerved across four lanes, attempting to hit her vehicle. When she came to a stop at the Palmetto Commerce Parkway traffic light, the Toyota approached and fired four shots at her vehicle.
The victim discovered a small graze on her rear bumper, and her passenger side rear tire had deflated after being struck.
