Police in North Charleston are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Dollar Tree store on Tuesday, where an employee was robbed at gunpoint.
The Robbery Incident
The robbery occurred at approximately 2 p.m. at the Dollar Tree located in Evanston Plaza. The victim, a Dollar Tree employee, was leaving the store to make cash deposits when she was approached by two males as she was getting into her car.
Details of the Robbery
According to the victim’s statement, the suspects demanded to know the contents of her bag and then reportedly poked her in the back with what she described as a hard metal object. The suspects grabbed the bag and fled the scene in a black vehicle.

The victim did not look back at the suspects or the vehicle during the incident. However, police were able to obtain surveillance footage from the scene, which shows part of the robbery from a distance. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are actively searching for the suspects.
