Charleston, South Carolina – The Charleston Police Department is looking into a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on Ashley River Road.
According to police, the crash occurred at 7 p.m. on Saturday near Wallace School Road. A Dodge Charger was going north on Ashley River Road when it collided with a pedestrian attempting to cross the road, according to investigators.
The pedestrian was brought to a hospital and eventually died. The victim’s identity remains unknown at this time.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was not injured in the collision.
