North Charleston, South Carolina – A 21-year-old man is charged with attempted murder following a shooting on September 21.
Officers from the North Charleston Police Department rushed to Kelly’s Quick Stop on Rivers Avenue after receiving reports of shots fired.
According to the agency, an inquiry revealed that a driver was dropping off a passenger when someone opened fire on the inhabited vehicle.
No one was wounded, but the vehicle was damaged.
An investigation into the shooting led authorities to Dameon King Jr., who was charged with attempted murder in connection with the event.
He is being imprisoned in the Al Cannon Detention Center.
