Parker was reported missing from the Hobcaw Point neighborhood off Mathis Ferry Road around 7 p.m. on January 30 after last being seen jogging near Bampfield Drive. Chief Deputy Coroner Brittney Matin confirmed his body was recovered around 9 a.m. the next morning; an autopsy is pending to determine cause of death.
