Goose Creek, South Carolina. A Southern Charm alum was convicted and sentenced on Friday after being caught driving under the influence last year in Goose Creek.
Kathyrn Dennis, 34, was sentenced to 30 days in the Berkeley County Jail on Friday.
Dennis was engaged in a three-vehicle collision on Monday, May 20, 2024, near the intersection of US Highway 52 and Stephanie Drive.
According to the incident report, when officers arrived at the collision scene, bystanders said that Dennis appeared to be inebriated and that they smelt alcohol on her. When the responding cops approached, they saw Dennis had shiny eyes.
According to the complaint, authorities discovered an unopened mini-Fireball bottle on Dennis’ driver’s side floorboard, as well as an empty pink tumbler.
The responding officer approached Dennis and stated that he too smelt alcohol emanating from her. The officer enquired whether Dennis had been drinking or using medicine, to which she replied, “No.”
While at the detention centre, the officer stated that Dennis acknowledged to them that she had used alcohol ‘far earlier’, despite her initial denial.
Dennis starred on the Bravo reality show from 2014 until 2022. It follows Charleston socialites as they deal with life, relationships, and drama.
