CHARLESTON, S.C. — Netflix’s popular series Outer Banks is filming its final season in the Lowcountry, and casting agents are looking for background actors to play “Kooks” in the show. Stewart Casting announced that they are seeking individuals to portray golfers, caddies, and spectators for two filming dates: July 7 and July 22. Those selected must be available for both dates.

Casting Details

The roles come with a pay rate of $132 for a 12-hour workday. Here’s what you need to know to apply:

Golfers:

Applicants must be 18 years old or older and must provide information about their golf experience.

A photo of personal golf clubs must be submitted to be considered. Those selected must bring their own golf clubs to the set.

An additional $20 will be added to the pay rate for those who bring their personal golf clubs.

Caddies:

All genders and ethnicities are welcome to apply, provided they are 18 years or older.

A costume will be provided, so applicants should ensure their wardrobe sizes are accurate in their submission.

Spectators:

Similar to the other roles, all genders and ethnicities are welcome to apply, and applicants must be 18 years or older to portray spectators.

    Travel and Expenses

    Stewart Casting emphasizes that travel expenses are not covered by production. If you are applying from outside the Charleston area, you must acknowledge that you are responsible for your own travel costs.
