North Charleston, South Carolina. The North Charleston Police Department reported that two people were attacked by dogs and had to be evacuated from the area by EMS on Tuesday.
According to the police report, they were called to the area after an animal attack was reported. Officers arrived and encountered members of the North Charleston Fire Department, who reported that a woman was being assaulted by two dogs in her yard.
When first responders arrived in the back yard, they discovered a victim on her back, clutching two dogs, one of which was reportedly hostile. According to the report, blood could be seen on both dogs and the fence.
Family members brought the dogs inside, and EMS transferred the woman for further treatment of her wounds.
Officers were then reportedly informed that a second victim had heard the ruckus and leaped over the fence.
According to the report, the second victim was bitten on the chin and neck and then transferred by EMS.
An animal control officer from the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office also helped respond to the incident.
