Berkeley County, South Carolina — Berkeley County deputies arrested a Moncks Corner woman over the weekend after she was discovered outside a home threatening people with a firearm.
Nicole S. Floyd, 33, of English Oak Circle, has been charged with two charges of pointing and exhibiting a firearm, two counts of assault and battery in the first degree, and evading arrest.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home on Belmar Avenue in Goose Creek on Saturday, Nov. 8, when a lady dressed all in black and wearing a ski mask was threatening individuals.
Floyd, a lady, left the scene by sprinting into an adjacent backyard. She was discovered shortly after, hiding in a shed.
Investigators discovered that Floyd confronted the victims earlier that Saturday at the Rainbow Market. According to the sheriff’s office, the group had a verbal disagreement before Floyd confronted them later that day at the victim’s home.
Floyd is being held at the Berkeley County jail center on a $181,087.50 bond.
An investigation is ongoing.
