Coroner identifies victim after teen is arrested in connection with deadly bar shooting.

A fatal shooting occurred outside Mulligan’s sports bar on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston, S.C., where 29-year-old Kevin Lamar Green from Ladson was killed by a gunshot wound.

Victim and Incident

Kevin Lamar Green died at the scene around 11:35 p.m. after being found shot in the parking lot at 8410 Rivers Avenue. North Charleston Police responded at 11:20 p.m., with EMS attempting life-saving measures that failed.

Suspect Arrest

17-year-old Maxwell Thomas Koller from Summerville faces adult charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was captured in Midway, Georgia, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force with help from local agencies and will be extradited to South Carolina.

Additional Charges

Koller’s parents, Thomas Koller (55) and Renee Koller (52), were arrested as accessories after the fact to murder. Police described the incident as isolated, with the investigation ongoing.
