The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 20-year-old woman last seen Sunday afternoon.
Last Seen at Convenience Store
Authorities say Kayla Jewell was last seen around 5 p.m. at Big T’s Convenience Store in the 2300 block of Ashley River Road.
Surveillance footage shows her meeting with a man inside the store before the two purchased several items.
Vehicle and Direction of Travel
After leaving the store, Jewell and the man entered a dark blue Jeep Patriot and drove away on Highway 61 toward the Magwood area.
Investigators have not released details about the man she was seen with.
Description of Missing Woman
Jewell is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.
At the time she was last seen, she was wearing white pants, white shoes, and a white hoodie with red writing.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Jewell’s whereabouts to come forward.
