North Charleston, South Carolina – The North Charleston Police Department has arrested two persons for reportedly firing firearms into an occupied vehicle following an argument.
Maurice Wilson, 44, is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, while Desiree Davis, 28, who was allegedly driving the vehicle, is charged with attempted murder, according to jail records.
Just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, police rushed to a Circle K on Dorchester Road and Scarsdale Avenue after receiving reports of shooting during a domestic disturbance. The victim informed investigators that she was arguing with the father of her unborn child when he reportedly attempted to physically assault her with a gun before shooting into the air.
She further told investigators that the suspect was parked at a gas station when he got out of the passenger seat and fired more rounds at her vehicle. There were no injuries recorded during the incident.
Officers apprehended the suspect and the claimed driver outside the suspect’s adjacent residence and put them into the Charleston County Jail.
