St. John’s Fire District responded to a deadly early-morning blaze at a mobile home on Betsy Kerrison Parkway at Kit Freeman Lane, across from Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Incident Response
Crews arrived around 4:50 a.m. to heavy fire; inside, they found a deceased female resident. Southbound lanes were temporarily closed Monday morning during operations.
Ongoing Investigation
The Fire Marshal Division is probing the cause. Charleston County Coroner’s Office has withheld the victim’s name pending family notification; no further details released.
