Police say officers and investigators responded to a stabbing that occurred behind a Publix grocery store. Authorities identified the suspect as Michael Athanasius Helring, of Hanahan, South Carolina.
Helring has been charged with attempted murder.
The victim’s name has not been released, and officials have not provided details about the victim’s condition.
