CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. – Emergency crews responded early Tuesday morning to a multi-vehicle crash on Johns Island, causing major traffic disruption during the morning commute.
According to the St. John’s Fire District, the crash occurred on Main Road, just past the Limehouse Bridge, as vehicles were heading off the island toward West Ashley.
As of 7:30 a.m., all lanes were blocked, and emergency personnel remained on the scene assisting with traffic control and cleanup.
