James Island, South Carolina — Wesley Fairey, a missing James Island firefighter, has been found safe in Bali after weeks of uncertainty.
The 44-year-old went to Indonesia with pals in August, but communication broke down as the group separated, and he lost contact with Fairey on August 25.
Fairey’s family has confirmed that they are in communication with a doctor and a nurse practitioner in Indonesia, who have informed them that he is safe.
