A Summerville woman is charged with disturbing kids on a playground and exposing them indecently.

Laura Elizabeth Warwick, 36, from Summerville, faces serious charges after allegedly exposing herself and harassing children at a playground near Haven Oaks Apartments in Dorchester County.​

Incident Details

Deputies responded to a civil disturbance on Saturday, December 20, 2025, learning Warwick had fled to a nearby Dollar General on Orangeburg Road, where bystanders held her until arrest. She reportedly arrived with pants down, grabbed one child by the hair, and restrained another, but an adult intervened to free them.​

Charges and Custody

Warwick is charged with kidnapping, two counts of indecent exposure, and simple assault, now held at L.C. Knight Detention Center.​
