Cherokee County, South Carolina – The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office claims that two persons were hospitalized when an ultralight aircraft crashed on Monday.

According to officials, the incident occurred at 5:30 p.m. on Beaverdam Road in Macedonia.

The Federal Aviation Administration will arrive at the area on Tuesday to begin an investigation, officials said.
