Katheryn Welch, 53, allegedly shot her boyfriend in the leg during an argument over Christmas cookies at their Twin Falls County, Idaho, home on or before December 23, 2025. A search revealed blood spatter, a bullet casing, and methamphetamine in the house.

She posted $75,000 bond on December 29, 2025, and was released from Twin Falls County Jail. Her next court date is January 9, 2026.
