Authorities in El Paso, Texas, say a 91-year-old woman fatally shot her 68-year-old son before taking her own life inside their home. The victim has been identified as John Fritz. Police allege that his mother, Ann Crawford Fritz, was responsible for the shooting and subsequently died by suicide.
Officers with the El Paso Police Department responded to the residence on Feb. 9 after receiving a request for a welfare check from a concerned neighbor. When officers entered the home, they discovered both individuals deceased.
Investigation Deemed Deaths Suspicious
