SOUTH CAROLINA— The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reports that a guy has been apprehended in connection with a bank robbery that occurred on October 22.

On Tuesday, the University of South Carolina Beaufort Bluffton Campus was placed under lockdown following a robbery at TD Bank on University Parkway.

Witnesses told investigators that the suspect, described as a Black male, fled the scene on bicycle. Investigators then discovered that he abandoned the bike in a forested area and fled in a small white SUV.
