Robeson County, North Carolina Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said Robeson County officials were responding to a fatal gunshot that was suspected to be a homicide.
Detectives were near Highway 74 and Hidden Valley Lane, west of Rowland, shortly after 2 p.m. No other information was immediately provided.
