Sandy Springs, GA police arrested Stephen Catterton after surveillance video captured him shoving two boys off their bikes into a fountain at City Springs Park on Feb. 28.
The Assault
Video shows Catterton walking, clapping, then pushing one teen directly into the water and bumping the second onto pavement near a ledge—no injuries, but unprovoked. Boys reported it immediately.
Mid-Concert Bust
Cops ID’d him at nearby Byers Theater enjoying The High Kings concert, escorted him out. Bodycam: He claimed “they ran right at me”; officers shut it down—”We watched the video. Tell the judge.”
Bonded out; charges unspecified (likely simple battery/aggravated assault on kids). PD jab: “Pushing kids off bicycles is unacceptable… use caution if he’s your neighbor.”
