SOUTH CAROLINA— A gunshot in Beaufort on Monday night killed one person, according to the Beaufort Police Department.
Officers arrived to 330 Robert Smalls Parkway around 8:53 p.m. on reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers assisted the victim until EMS came and brought him to a local hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries.
According to police, the case is still under investigation.
