SOUTH CAROLINA— The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that a pedestrian was struck and died Wednesday night in Spartanburg County.
According to troopers, the crash occurred around 9:48 p.m. on Hayne Street near Arcadia Station Road. The person was on the road when they were struck by a vehicle.
The person died at the spot. Officials stated that the driver was not wounded.
The pedestrian’s identity has not yet been published as the inquiry is ongoing.
