Marion County, South Carolina — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office called for assistance on Thursday in investigating a double homicide from 2021.
The sheriff’s office reported that Cathy Diane Thompkins, John Michael Thompkins, and their dog, Tipsy, were found shot to death on the night of October 3, 2021, on the 3000 block of Ervin Court. Over four years later, the case remains unresolved, and deputies continue to actively seek information.
