SOUTH CAROLINA— Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office arrested a lady on Monday afternoon in connection with a burglary and stabbing on Hill Lane.
Authorities said deputies were dispatched to the neighborhood about 12:18 p.m. after receiving reports of a stabbing victim.
When they arrived, they found a victim with at least one stab wound. The person was sent to a hospital and is likely to recover.
Shelina Yeargin, 50, was arrested shortly afterward, according to investigators. Yeargin is suspected of breaking into three Hill Lane residences and stabbing a homeowner.
Deputies stated that Yeargin and the victim knew each other. She is facing several counts, including attempted murder.
