I killed four women: Used car salesman makes terrifying revelation to nurse after he chloroforms lady and murders her, cops say

Ronald Chester Racki, 75, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of Laikyn Marie West. West, 24, was reported missing by her roommate in September 2024 after she had not been seen for three days. Authorities say Racki was the last person known to have seen her alive after the two met on Sept. 13, 2024. Racki allegedly admitted he paid West for sexual encounters and picked her up that morning, traveling to Venice for lunch, but investigators found no evidence that he ever dropped her off.

Evidence Allegedly Linking Racki to the Killing

According to investigators, journal entries written by West indicated Racki had paid her more than $900 to use chloroform during sex. Racki denied actually using chloroform on her, though he admitted possessing the chemical at his used car dealership. A search warrant executed on his phone reportedly uncovered disturbing images, including photos taken the night West disappeared showing her nude, restrained with handcuffs and cable ties. Detectives also reported finding violent pornography on the device. Additional suspicion arose when a vehicle detailer told police he noticed a suspicious stain and unusual odor in one of Racki’s cars.

Investigation Ongoing as Police Search for West’s Body

Authorities say Racki attempted suicide in December 2024, weeks after being questioned about West’s disappearance. While hospitalized, he allegedly told a nurse that he had killed four women six weeks earlier, though detectives say there is no evidence supporting that claim. Racki was taken into custody and booked into the Sarasota County Jail, where he remains without bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for March 20. Police continue searching for West’s body as Andy Leisenring said investigators remain committed to bringing justice and answers to her family.
